Corporate Eye Care
We could increase your productivity,
reduce work place fatigue, cut down on absenteeism,
increase good humour and improve staff looks.
Up to 54% of office workers have to
struggle with poor vision before they lift a finger
at work. Many computer operators are as tired by lunch
time as they should be by bedtime. Struggling to overcome
poorly corrected vision is a tiring business and costs
companies dearly in reduced productivity and increased
loss of working hours.
Do your staff complain of headaches
and migraine?
Are your work colleagues tired and
irritable.
Are mistakes made and mis-entries
and spelling mistakes a common problem?
No wonder things often get confused?
Our prescription can really help.
We will test your operators eyes and
automatically send you a full report on their VDU vision
requirements thereby fulfilling your need to comply
with Health and Safety Requirements (Display Screen
Equipment) Regulations 1992.
(Current legislation requires employers
to arrange for their VDU operators (computer users)
to have a full eye examination on a regular basis).
This is normally repeated every two
years unless the employee has special requirements when
they may need to be seen more often. If the optician
testing their sight finds they need spectacles specifically
for computer use the employer must provide them.
However less than 2% of operators
checked need specialist spectacles, but if one of your
staff do prove to need them Optique will, if you wish,
supply them at a special rate (with the frame chosen
from a specially selected range). As mentioned when
we test their eyes we will send a report form directly
to your desk advising you of their VDU vision requirements.
