Order Contact Lens Aftercare
Many opticians are reluctant to offer
clients after care when they have purchased their contact
lenses elsewhere, this is especially the case where
the lenses have been supplied by a mail order company.
You will be pleased to know Optique has no problem with
this offering a full aftercare service to these clients
fully supporting them and offering full clinical
care and prescription updating serviced.
Optique has been appointed by Postoptics
to offer specialist contact lens services in the central
South of England.
Postoptics are the largest suppliers
of Mail Order contact lenses in the United Kingdom operating
a competitive and very efficient service.
Current legislation
requires all contact lens wearers to undergo a full
aftercare examination from a qualified optician at least
once every year. Mail order companies are required to
have evidence that this has been done before they supply
lenses through the post.
This is where Optique come
in. We will, at your request examine your eyes and issue
a full written prescription enabling you to buy your contact
lenses through the post.
The charge for an initial contact lens appointment and specification issue is £35.00. Subsequent visits are £25.00 - but you would save money if you joined our Complete Care Scheme A £15.00 quarterly payment cover two aftercare visits per annum plus an eye examination every two years as well as other benefits such as discounts on glasses. The Postoptics catalogue has a form
included for this purpose, if you do not have this to
hand Optique can provide the necessary paper work. These
checks are available at any Optique practice but please
telephone us first for an appointment.
Optique is pleased to offer full eye
examination services to all mail order clients and can
provide contact lens trials, spare contact lenses, emergency
replacement lenses and back up spectacles. Value for
